Family Photo Album

The house in Ottawa Hills, Ohio where the kids

went to elemantry school.  It also had Peter's first basement for train layouts

Ah, the traditional family activities, a locally grown Ohio pumpkin on its way to becoming a Jack O Lantern

Many good years were spent in the house Peter and Mary Jane built on Sunrise Drive, on the side of South Mountain in Phoenix.
Carriage driving competitions take Mary Jane throughout Arizona as well as to nearby states.  Here she is in Tucson, driving Melodie, her young Morgan mare

The kids did the usual kid things.  Here Bryan is visiting Phoenix with his brand new car, showing it off to Pat and the dog.
No, Mary Jane has not become a lush.  Peter and her travels take them to train spots as much as horse events.  This is a display of life in the famous Pennsylvania Railroad town of Altoona, PA at their wonderful Railroaders Museum

The kids actually help with their parent's hobbies (sometimes).  Here Nick is helping Peter to install the scenic backdrop in the train layout at Paulden.
Retirement has its benefits, travelling being one.  But, trips still have a horse or train theme.  Here they are enjoying the views from the Georgetown Loop railroad west of Denver.

Here is a hint of what lies within the basement at Paulden.  There is lots more in its own section of this website!
The Paulden house in springtime.  The crabapple tree and the bulbs are in bloom, but the summer flowers and roses are yet to come.

The guest house was the first structure built in Paulden.  Notice the faint resemblence to a train station.  That was not an accident.
The horse barn.  That is Orion watching us from the end of his stall.

In the high country, spring comes later than in the low deserts that we were used to.  So it is with great joy when we see the bulbs flower telling us that summer is on its way in a place where that does not mean 110 degree days!

Easter, 2005.  Brynn is ready to go with parents, Pat and Yvette and grandparents, to her first Easter mass.

As the twig is bent.  After church, we are at our place in Tempe for dinner.  Brynn is getting up close and personal with the train set running on the floor.  Soon it will have a table of its own and we will see how soon she will be running them herself.

Yvette had lots of company and "help" while waiting for Hayden to arrive

Here is Yvette with two hour old Hayden
